I will have to see how it goes once I start paying for the monthly fees. I was going to decide at that point whether to stick with UAW or LJ but since you are rather limited on LJ campaigns with a set maximum of links allowed for the day, UAW as a permanent back linking campaign is winning the war so far.thanks..

Nice! Care to share some of your websites? How do you profit from them? What venue are you using to make money online? I didn't see any adsense on your pages here.

Well every day that I chat with Mike on IM he still encourages me to just build more sites. Not to worry about rankings or spending time back linking but just to crank them out so he definitely pushes me. I really got behind this week though. I only managed to finish 1 site so I need to make up for it over the weekend and tomorrow. (I work at the dental office today so nothing will get done. I am beat when I come home on Thursdays. lol)

LOL That's too funny about "alternative to link juicer" because I didn't even mention an alternative to it, only that I was using it and UAW.

Definitely would be frustrating that you can only run 10 xfactor sites on LJ. I wasn't planning on changing up any of the current campaigns I have right now. I was going to let them sit there and run a few months so I can understand what you are saying about losing link velocity.

I know some other people have purchased more than 1 account but at that point I definitely see UAW as being the better choice. Why have to spend almost $100 just to run 20 xfactor campaigns with LJ instead of just slapping down $67 a month with unlimited campaigns with UAW? UAW would just make more sense. Although LJ comes at you with the angle that the links are long term as opposed to UAW.

So glad to see you're getting results. I just wish I had the time to crank them out at the same rate! I am using UAW though so I should porbably work a little harder on getting some articles done for that.

Hey Sara,

Google really loves your blog. I was doing some IM work when I googled this phrase -alternative to linkjuicer- and bingo, this latest post of yours shows up in the #9 spot :)

I agree with your assessment of the LJ limitation. I mean, if we followed LJ's recommendation (i.e. 20% links to the domain page, 80% to internal pages) then that means with the typical XF site being 5 pages (that we care about), then that's 5 pages = 5 campaigns, so that means a max of 10 XF sites that the LJ account (50 campaigns max) can support.

Of course, you could swap out a site for another XF site, but you'd lose link velocity on the XF site you swapped out, and that site could end up taking a nosedive in the serps.

Hello Stacey,

I haven't had any problems with link juicer's site. It's funny because as I am setting up my campaigns and editing the spyntax, I make sure to copy and paste what I am working with in notepad just for safe measure. I somehow could picture spending 15-20 minutes spyntaxing only to have the site not load or something after hitting the submit button but really it has never done that to me.

I'm still on the 30 day trial though so I will have to see how it goes once I start paying for the monthly fees. I was going to decide at that point whether to stick with UAW or LJ but since you are rather limited on LJ campaigns with a set maximum of links allowed for the day, UAW as a permanent back linking campaign is winning the war so far.

Hey Sara,

Glad to see you've hit 20. I'm pushing out XF sites as fast as I can, and hope to join you at 20 soon. Anyway, just wanted to comment on linkjuicer, since I'm also signed up for it. Maybe it's just me but their website is so spotty, that sometimes I'm able to do what I want like set up a campaign without any fuss, but sometimes the darn thing just sits there, as if it's suffering from some sort of DOS attack. I got the impression that the dude who put it all together is quite a techie, but the spotty service is just so frustrating that I might just take my monthly $47 elsewhere. What's your experience with it like so far?
