Today is the big day. I go to court in just a few hours to find out whether or not the judge will grant me my request to move back home with my parents. As of this very moment, I am not as nervous as I thought I would be. In fact, I slept rather peacefully last night. Which is surprising because I have not slept well the previous 3 nights. I am wrapping my mind around the idea that all is well and that things will work out just fine. I will definitely update how this turns out later tonight.
Anyhow, on with my Amazon site. Yesterday I did my research and honestly I wasn’t really paying attention to competition since PR is not a legitimate way to judge how sites will be ranked now but that relevancy and quality are the bigger issues. But for those of you that want the details, here they are:
Monthly exact searches: 18,100
Global exact searches: 22,200
Niche: diet/health product
Amazon price range for products to review: $179.00-$243.00
Domain: hyphenated 3 keyword phrase as a .net (none of the TLD are not even ranking in the SERPs for the main keyword at the moment)
After I did my research I spent all afternoon installing the Thesis Theme and setting up the site layout. I also installed the WP-backup plugin, a contact form plugin and the login lockdown plugin.
I also managed to write about 500 words for my first review but it is not complete. My goal is to make it a 1,000 word review and I need to add more images to make the post more enticing. Remember the more enticing it is, the better chances you can get natural link bait. I’ll probably work on this later after I return from court since I will probably be able to concentrate easier.
I was right about predicting my earnings from my xfactor sites would be about $15 yesterday. They ended up being $15.91.

Please keep us updated! I was just thinking about you today & wondering how you made out at court.

I lost…for now. So it looks like I am going to be here for another 2-3 months until we go through mediation and an evaluation hearing. The evaluation hearing will be sometime in august or september.
I’m so sorry ! Well it ain’t over til the fat lady sings, right?

Sorry to hear that – Sara. It must be very disappointing, but it sounds like you still have your spirit intact and that you are ready to continue working towards what you believe is right for you and your family (which isn’t surprising at all, given how hard we’ve all seen you work on your business).
