I’ll be away from the computer for sometime. My mother was hospitalized on Saturday with pneumonia. She was hooked up to a ventilator right away but since then her condition has become more critical. She had heart failure 3times last night and they are doing their best to stabilize her. Those of you that believe in God, please pray for her and my dad.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and well wishes. My mom requires open heart surgery but because she is still very sick from pneumonia, they are not looking to do the surgery for another 5-6 days. Right now she is still asleep and we’ve been waiting for her to wake up for a little over a day now. They expect her to be fully awake within the next 24 hours. Please continue to pray she wakes up ASAP so they can take her off the ventilator.

My mom ended up having her heart surgery last Friday and it was a success. She is still in the ICU since she has a road to healing still. We are very excited to see how well she has improved with each new day. Please still pray for her healing.

I put her in out Book of Intentions at church as “Sara’s Mom” She has about 500 people including her in their prayers on Sat-Sun and maybe 250 more during the week. The power of group prayer is pretty amazing

My mom will need to be in the hospital another week or so. The doctors are still working on getting fluid around her lungs drained (that was the original diagnosis until they did the angiogram on her.) She will also need to go to rehab to strengthen her body to walk again and now for learning to swallow food. When they removed the ventilator it messed up the muscles in her throat so she is being tube fed until they can determine she will not aspirate food into the lungs.
I really praise God for the miracle that she is alive and healing nicely. I am also so thankful for my business because I can’t imagine a boss giving me 2-3 weeks off for this. Its a comfort to know my sites still earn even though I am not touching them right now.

Still praying for your mother. My grandpa just went into the hospital a few days ago because his diabetes medication caused him to have an irregular heartbeat.
That’s awesome that you have been able to be there for your mom the whole tim. Still praying for a speedy recovery and hopefully you are taking care of yourself as well!

Looks like my mom is coming home tomorrow err….today now since its 2am. Anyhow, I will be helping to take care of her but I’ll be home now so hopefully I can get some work done. So glad that your Mum is finally better. My 3 year old son has been tube fed since he was 5 months so I know what you’re feeling but its just a matter of time until your Mum finds the confidence to eat again. Once she’s better she’ll be absolutely fine.

Well, Here it is 4 days since I last reported she might be home and yet she is still in the hospital. Her white blood counts were a bit high so they feared she might have an infection from the peg tube procedure. They say today she might go home if the white blood count is lower. *crosses fingers*
She did have an ear, nose and throat doctor examine her yesterday and she said that the vocal cords are functioning but that they are just weak so there is definite hope for a full recovery regarding her swallowing again.

How many adsense impressions do you make daily?
How many pages of content do you have totally?
How many websites do you have for micro niches in total?
I am asking this because I have around 20 niches but i hardly have 30 impressions a day
My mom is still in the hospital but at least they found some answers. They found out why the white blood cell count was high and have started antibiotics for an infection she got.
She was also cleared to start eating moist foods as long as she holds her breath to swallow each bite.
They are looking to remove her peg tube (feeding tube in the stomach) possibly today or tomorrow and then she will come home a few days later.
We’re almost at the finish line!
That’s real progress! Sounds like your Mom will be home for Christmas. Once she gets home I’ll bet she sleeps better and eats better.

Good news! She came home last night. I woke up and attempted to get back on track and function as normal pre-hospitalization and the next thing I knew nothing went to plan. The home health nurse came by and had to show us how to care for the surgical wounds my mom has from when they removed the peg tube that was in her stomach. how to give her an antibiotic through an pick line IV that is still in her arm and tomorrow’s lesson will be how to give her insulin injections.
After the nurse left, there was all the commotion of getting my mom’s oodles of medications crushed up so that she could take them with pudding. Then I had to start preparing dinner in a crockpot and did all the dishes and now its already 1pm. Busy busy with her home. But I am thankful she is home!
That’s such good news !!!! Being a caregiver can be very exhausting so please make sure you get enough rest yourself. But I’m sure that now that your Mom is home she will recover a lot faster than when she was in the hospital.

What a tremendous blessing! I hope your Christmas season goes better, we’re entering into that same “age” of life where the parents are having health issues…sorta wish I had begun this IM venture a year earlier so we could move back to CA with them.
Anyhow, maybe this next year or two, that won’t be an issue for us. (I sure don’t relish the thought of CA taxes, but Cali’s home – roots go too deep). We’ll keep praying for her, and for your business to explode in success.

Ok…maybe I just won’t say anything until she has been home for a week first. She was readmitted tonight. She has been feeling nauseated since she came home and last night should could not stop vomiting. They say she will be in for 3-4 days.
