Last week after having a chat with Mike, I decided to try out earning money from building hubs. When I first spoke with Mike about it, I was going to shoot for 7 hubs a day. Unfortunately, I am only able to bust out 5 a day. I’m basically only working on my IM business about 5-6 hours a day. My mornings are filled with working out at the gym, coming home, showering and having my first meal so that I can start to work for the day.
I usually then take about 1 hour to search out new niches and keywords for my hubs and I don’t start writing for hubs until I have about 7-8 keywords. Then over the next few hours I hub. I know it should take me only 20-30 min to bust out an article for them, but I can’t. It takes me about 30-50 minutes per hub. Sometimes I get sidetracked while researching the niche further or sometimes it is straight research that causes me to take so long.
I have been hubbing for 8 days now. No adsense income from them just yet, but I am hoping to at least get 100+ hubs built this month. I just finished for the day and I have 34 hubs published so far. In another 3 weeks I plan on starting my attack to rank them.
The good news is I am tackling niches I am very interested in at the moment so the writing isn’t too boring for me.
I really hope hubbing can bring in $2k a month for me. I plan on hubbing for the next 3 months straight. As I earn money, I will outsource some of the writing.

Yea, I don’t want to quit on the hubs. Especially since I know it works. For those of you curious about making money with hubpages, you can check out Court’s experiment with them here.
I think it will just be a matter of testing which niches are profitable and how to get my hubs ranking decently.
