Ever feel as though your domains are being watched? The online world is pretty massive and there are billions of keyword phrases. When I back link, I am never stupid enough to place the back links of my other niches in my forum profiles etc. But if someone is watching my Jump Tags profile or my Digg profile, they can easily see all of my keywords I am going after. Even though I use Bookmarking Demon and have about 10 different accounts registered with it to prevent this from happening, it can still happen.

Yesterday as I was casually checking up on some sites I noticed I have 2 “xfactor” sites right behind me in the form of the .org. One of them is using Clickbump’s template and was built about 2 weeks after mine was indexed and another site is using a xsite-pro HTML setup that is not the ugly green and black theme. It has actual photos on it. Competition is always gonna be present but I am one step ahead of you B****** so don’t even think of it! Those two particular sites of mine are ranking very well and I already have a ton of back links pointing to them and I am ramping up some more on them.

I guess this is one reason why using different hosting plans or reseller plans is best, to hide all your niches. I am at about 22 sites on my 2nd hosting account so I think I may as well purchase a reseller plan for my last 13 sites I have yet to build. I like to test and see how easy it is to rank for a keyword and then I will go back and snag the remaining TLD if still available. I get pretty greedy on some though and buy them before I even build the site. Especially if the CPC is high.

Oh and get this. Remember how I mentioned a site earlier that had a similar keyword  as my site but had an extra word added to the domain and the words were jumbled different?  So for example his domain is

outsideportablewidgetsinfo.com

and mine is

portableoutsidewidget.net

Anyhow, I have reason to believe I am competing with none other than John Xfactor himself (this site was built in 2008 before John released his book). lol He is kicking my booty for my keyword even though his is jumbled differently and has an added word. But he is not even ranking on the first page for his own keyword, he is sitting at #11. I think its because of that damn added word. To be fair, he does have some hefty competition though. Lots of PR2-5 on page one and he has a PR2 for his site.

Anyhow there is always a lot you can learn from watching someone elses’ site. I see how this person uses article marketing and most importantly, how he effortlessly got over 100 back links to his site. But that is all I am gonna say about that.

Today I am gonna work on some profile back linking. I am soooo done with article marketing right now. I’ll probably end up outsourcing this since I need time to focus on other things but for today, I don’t feel like embarking on another interview oDesk haul. I need a break from training new people for new positions on oDesk. lol

I didn’t hit $30 yesterday but still I did pretty good with $26.04.

Highest xfactor site earning for the day:  $2.11 (for a site sandboxed, that is pretty good)

Lowest xfactor site earning for the day: $0.12
