I signed up for a free 7 day course called 7 Deadly SEO Mistakes 2 days ago. This is a fantastic free offer and I am not just saying that. As you can tell I do not have an affiliate id linked in this post. I do not get any credit for recommending this 7 day course. I just think you can benefit from it as much as I am so far. That is my intent and honest truth.
What really surprised me was the day 2 lesson, which I received this morning. In 20 minutes, I learned I have been setting up my text links COMPLETELY wrong on my front page for SEO purposes and I also now know what text links I should be displaying in my sidebar and how many words the maximum links should be.
Oh yea, the anchored text issue…I know there has been much debate over using “click here” and the like; and after watching today’s lesson, I will also be modifying my usage.
Today’s goal is to go over some of my blogs and modify some home page structure changes.

I keep coming across posts emphasizing the importance on onsite SEO, yet not really telling you what to do. It’s been bugging me lately wondering if I am missing something simple. I will definitely be checking this out.
As far as BLs, I have found the anchor text to be very important to what KWs you rank for, but I’ll see if I am right.
