Here I am switching to a new blog theme, yet again. I love Skinpress themes and had been pretty satisfied with my previous theme but then the theme just all of a sudden stopping functioning properly. I had not touched the editor or messed with any coding but whenever a visitor would click on a blog post to read the full post the sidebar would no longer load and the comments wouldn’t display either. Maybe the theme was not compatible with the latest WP version. So anyhow, I am testing out this new theme I found.
Yesterday, I felt as though I didn’t have much time to get the amount of work completed as planned. My son had an early release day followed by a dental appointment which ended up being longer than expected since they were able to fit him into the schedule to get additional work done that I would have had to reschedule him for anyhow. Then on the way home we were stuck in traffic because there was an accident.
I’m still learning the in and outs of using infobarrel. Ok, so far I have learned that they do not like you to make your links too luring for the reader. they want contextual links. Ok I get that. Now the new lesson I have learned is they do not want a smidgen of the same sentence in your article. In my 400+ word article that I worked on submitted yesterday, I had one sentence that had the same first half of a sentence that was found on another website. So my article was rejected 2 times even after editing it. It was not accepted until there were no similarities at all in the sentence. It was quite frustrating. But now that I know how they work, hopefully things will go smoothly.
So yesterday I get in 5 ezine article rewrites and 5 infobarrels.
I also heard back from my last article writer and she has accepted my offer to write articles for me again this week. So by next Tuesday I should have another 40 articles to use for my hubs.
Today I plan on getting the rest of these ezine and infobarrel rewrites submitted. Then I will put up some hubs from my articles I received last weekend.
I haven’t been getting all that many clicks from my hubs. I am averaging about $0.50 a day from my hubs the past few days. I am crossing my fingers that the new hub articles I received and will be putting up over the next few days bring in much higher clicks.
Another thing I am curious about are the ads. You know how you get a score from google on your content and that scoring will determine if you get the higher CPC ads displayed? Well I wonder if this also applies to Hubs. Just a thought.
