Today was the day for mediation in order for my ex and I to come to an agreement on my request for a move away. It has been a very emotional and stressful battle but we finally came to terms. Neither one of us are 100% satisfied with the outcome but there was a lot of give and take. I am just glad it is over and that I can finally move forward with my plan to move back home with my parents and rent out the house and then sell it once the market rises again.

I didn’t expect things to happen this quickly after a first mediation appointment. naturally, I had prepared myself for the worse and figured we would have to go through 2-3 more mediation appointments with a final court date in October or so. Because we came to an agreement today, I am officially granted permission to move right away. This could not have happened at a better timing since my son’s first day of school is Monday. I was apprehensive about having him start school here in San Jose, only to have to adjust him to a new school in 2 months or so. Now he will be able to attend his first day of school in Fresno as planned.

The real kicker is that I will be living in Fresno during the week and then staying in my house in San Jose on the weekends in order to finish boxing up things and selling off items I am not taking with me through the move. This means taking my computer down to Fresno this weekend and setting it up for me to be able to work during the week. I have already discussed with my mom that we will need to upgrade the internet connection. She has AT&T but its not U-Verse which is what I am accustomed to here in San Jose. So we will need to set that up right away because there is no way I can operate with a slow connection. That will drive me nuts.

I am really happy today and feel like some stress has been lifted off of my shoulders. Now, I just look forward to getting settled into my parents home so I can focus 100% on my business.

P90X is also going very well. I have managed to drop some of the weight I gained while on vacation (which I think was really water retention) and am seeing the number on the scale go down consecutive days in a row now. Yay me!

I did $27.63 in adsense yesterday and I estimate today will be just over $20. I am still unable to figure out why my one site is getting a lot of visitors even with its poor ranking of #159. It is not listed in Bing or Yahoo so it must all be traffic from additional keyword phrases that I was unintentionally ranking for. It did $4.84 yesterday and today the site has already done $2.76. I have been working on writing more articles for backlinks for it and I also did some Sick Profile Maker runs with it yesterday.
