BacklinksPhilippines.com offers high quality profile backlinks on websites with PR 4-9. John’s confidence in the effectiveness his backlinks led him to be kind enough to offer me a package of 400 backlinks for free, so now I can truly test out his back linking tactics and see if it helps my website gain rankings and boost earnings.
I did not have Google Analytics installed on this site so I just installed it today.
John’s team started backlinking my site (xfactor site #30) 2 days ago on May 21, 2010.
In order to protect my adsense account, I cannot show you live screen shots of where my website ranks nor can I tell you the exact keywords but I will provide the basic information about the site and I will show you my Google Analytics screen shots over the next few weeks so that you can see the update in traffic.
As promised to John, I will not be doing any other back linking to the site so you will be able to see that it is gaining back links via Backlinks Philippines only. The Backlinks Philippines Team will not be sending all 400 back links to the main page. The links will be distributed amongst 5 different keywords and 5 different URLs on the same domain.

Did they say how long it will take to create all the backlinks? I’m always scared of having too many backlinks created at once and get a Google slap (the so called Sandbox).
I’ve hired a service that creates 40 high profile backlinks a day (except weekends, so 800 a month) for $67, which is a great deal, I think. Just hoping not too much at once. =)
They complete them over a period of 8-10 working days so I think it won’t be too fast. What I like about Backlink Philippines is that they do a double pass so it helps them stay under the radar.
it sounds like you’re describing an angioplasty – what’s a double pass?
JamestheJust on Elance´s last blog ..Results Are In – Does The Best Spinner Out-Perform Magic Article Rewriter? Here Is How The Best Spinner And Magic Article Rewriter Compare (Part Two)
Hi James,
The Double Pass is the technique of creating Web 2.0 profiles first without putting any link therein. This technique is invented so as to minimize the probability of profile deletions by the site administrator. The profiles are then aged for several days and after the profiles have slipped from the New Member List on the Front Page and have therefore gone “below the radar” of the site administrators, we then revisit the sites and insert the links therein. This results in a very low rate of profile deletions.

I have to disagree. Most sites probably don’t even get 400 links in a year. 400 links to your site, with probably the same amount of traffic, in 8-10 days will probably raise a flag. Then, after the 10 days, the links will just stop? That’s pretty much a clear sign that they’re bought or something is fishy.
After my less than stellar results with Profile Link Builder Pro, I’m anxious to see how this particular case study unravels.
when you say john, are you talking about john from xfactor or is the guy from Backlinks Philippines .com named john. abit confused.
good luck and please update your results.
John Dales from Backlinks Philippines. John “Xfactor” does not use or offer profile backlinks.
Hi Sara, glad that you got the opportunity to trial out John’s profile linking for free and it’s generous of John to help out Sara this manner.
I have a few questions,
1) The current 99 registered backlinks, can you give us an ideal where are from?
2) What is the current PR of the site?
3) How many links per profile will there be and of the 400 links, how many are pointing to the main page?
Cheers
Tinman´s last blog ..Day 51 – Site Flipping Update
The 99 links are a mixture of press releases, blog commenting and the majority are from a link exchange.
The site is a PR-. (I’ll add that to my post).
I am not sure how many links are used per profile. I’ll update you on that later.
I am rather sure that your SERP will move when you start the backlinking. Two of the main issues we face when doing profile links are the site being send to the sandbox and the ability to hold the links and SERP long. This will be interesting experiment to see how Backlinks Philippines fairs on these issues.
Another thing, you mention the 6 months old site is NA, I alway thought that every new sites start will a PR NA will get a PR0 when Big G update site PR which in every 3 months.

I’ve been considering using their service for a while, so I am also really looking forward to the results! Will you be doing anything to help “boost” or index the links, BTW?

We are currently implementing Sean’s Backlink Booster and Carl Ringwall’s Backlinks Index Express. Because we have not yet finished full implementation of the Booster and the BIE Sara’s backlinks are not yet boosted but we ping all the links we did for her using Ping-O-Matic. Perhaps by June we can offer booster and indexing services.

John –
Thanks for the tip on the boosters – I’ve been considering using them as well (Sean’s was the first I’d heard of).

Very cool. I can’t wait to see the results!

John…will you also be trying Backlink Booster or just Sean’s product and BIE?
Sean Donahoe’s Backlink Booster is the original Booster. And I think it was Sean Donahoe himself who first coined the term Backlink Booster. The problem is that he forgot to register the .com domain for that.
John R. Dales´s last blog ..What Is SEO And How Backlinks Help In Better Serp’s
Dear John,
To set the record straight, Sean is not the first to coin the phrase Backlink Booster. We registered the domain in 2006 and first used the name in commerce years before that. Conversely, Sean launched his product at the end of 2009 and is currently infringing upon our trademark.
Sean has what appears to be a good product, but he made a major error in naming it. I appreciate your loyalty to Sean and his product, but please ensure you are presenting correct facts about the origination and ownership of the name as we take this issue very seriously.
On another note, we appreciate your case study and look forward to seeing the results. Best of luck to you!
Thank you,
Tom
Hi Tom,
Sorry for the error in the origination and ownership of the Booster Name. I indicated in my post that I was not sure about that. That’s why I wrote ..”I think it was Sean…”.
Anyways, I wrote you an e-mail at your support desk. I would appreciate if you can e-mail me back.

I apologize too Tom. I have never even heard of your product or seen your site and it could easily be mistaken for a copycat product. You gotta admit, the names are confusing but I do understand that you trademarked the name first.
John, thank you for the reply above and your email. I appreciate both gestures, and I replied to your email. Again, I think you have a great premise for your case study and I’m looking forward to your findings.
Sara, thank you as well. I agree about the confusion in the marketplace regarding the names, and we have been working behind the scenes for several months to address the issue. Having said that, it does appear Sean has a good product and we respect both his product and your support for it.
Keep up the great work you do on this site!
Sincerely,
Tom
This is a great case study. Can’t wait to see how it goes:)
Sandy
good day Sara,
how many pages are there, in that site of yours? before Backlink Phillipines.
It is a 5 page website. I’ll edit that info on the original post as well. Thanks for reminding me.
wow. that is a winner. at position 11 and earning that much.
congrats Sara.
for the 400 to 500 words articles,
are you writing with John’s (XFactor) style 100% per se?
well, you don need to answer in complete details if you don’t feel comfortable about this. it’s ok!
No, I never followed John’s suggestions for the content writing. I have always wrote information on how to use x product, comparing x product to other similar products or tips for using x product. I never did any sort of product details, its just not the kind of content I would want on my sites. people can get that stuff from Amazon. I wanted something “beefier”.
thank you very much for your explanation Sara.
that is very helpful. wish you luck in your 400 links endeavor.
