Today; Saturday marks exactly 1 week of building 2 xfactor micro niche sites a day. I cannot believe I did it. I set a goal for this week and I was able to keep up with it! The first few days were rough since I wasn’t down with my tasks for the day until almost 1 am every day. I improved my work load each day by building my sites first thing in the morning. Today I spent from 9:00 am until 2:30 building my 2 xfactor sites, uploading the last few pages for sites I built yesterday, social marked my new sites with BMD, RSS submitted to directories, pinged new sites and new pages created and lastly, got 5 UAW submissions set up and are awaiting approval. Its probably been my most productive day this week and yet I finished hours before my usual time. I guess a huge part of the reason why I finished early today was the pure fact that today didn’t have anything to do with my outsourcers. I didn’t have to answer emails, or proof read submitted articles to me etc.
Although I will have to find at least 2 new keyword domains to snag today since I will need to submit some keywords for my writers by tomorrow in order to get started for next week’s content.
I was able to find 2 really promising keywords 2 days ago in my research and the cpc for them is significantly high compared to my highest one to date. Now I will just have to see how easily I can rank my micro site for its main keyword.
I’ve officially called it quits on Link Dozer. So much work involved just to get one campaign up and running versus just 2-3 days with Traffic Kahuna. And with Traffic Kahuna, I am already seeing my site (site #25 for clarification) move up closer to page 1 with each passing day. Two weeks ago when I decided to purchase Traffic Kahuna, site #25 was sitting comfortable on page 3 and it was in position 5 or 6 I believe. On Jan. 25th, I began a campaign for that site in particular. Every day that I checked its rankings I would see it slowly move up by 1-2 positions and at mid week of this week it was able to move up to page 2 at about position 6. Today is it position #1 on page 2 so I have no doubt within the next week it will be on page 1. As I look at the traffic it has doubled in the amount of traffic it had before implementing TK on it even though its not a whole lot even now. I was getting only 0-1 visitors a day and now its receiving about about 5-8 visitors a day.
That is pretty exciting to me. I know there have been many mixed reviews on Traffic Kahuna since its first release in 2008 but I am satisfied with my results so far. Not to mention its ease of use.
Another helpful thing this week has been my main article writer turned spinner. She started off rewriting articles for me for a dirt cheap price but then I was able to get her the content spinning software used through Traffic Kahuna since the developers kindly issued an additional license for the software for me and now I am able to have her spin 25 articles a week for me for still a pretty cheap amount. She earns more money spinning and she just loves the software because its easy for her to use and cuts her rewriting time in half. I am basically paying her $4 per article spin and then I come out with these spins that are easy for me to quickly make a UAW submission with, get my articles distributed through Traffic Kahuna’s article submission gateway and then I can spin the articles quickly for other article directories such as Goarticles, Article base etc.
Only about 6 of the 14 sites I did this week are indexed and they aren’t earning anything yet so we shall see how things look in a few more days. Here are their rankings so far:
Site #28 – Ranking at page 2 #20
Site #29 – Ranking on page 1 at #10
Site #30 – Ranking on page 2 #12
Site #31 – sanboxed
Site #32 – Ranking on page 3 #26
Site #36 – sandboxed

Well done on a successful week!! Must have been a great feeling getting so much done. I am so sure you’re going to be seeing great results soon

It is an amazing feeling yet overwhelming. Before I could just do whatever I wanted whenever I wanted as far as site building, research or working on back linking. But now with having writers and rewriters eagerly waiting for their daily assignments I find I am making that a priority before anything else. In fact, I spent most of my day yesterday researching for new keywords to prepare for this week. But I know I could not accomplish this without their help so I see the value in my time sacrifice.
Its excellent to see that you’re staying on track, thats a VERY tough goal that you have set yourself….congratulations, you must feel really good!
Quick question, are you beginning to see any movement from your previous sites that are maturing to like 3-4 months?
I followed your advice on oDesk and have hired a few artice writers, was trying to look for $2 per 500 words but couldn’t find anyone…lol, don’t know how you manged to do it!
I was also thinking that it might be worth hiring someone to do some link building on the xfactor sites since thats an very time consuming job in itself. Have you considered doing anything like this?
Oh and are you still gettgin2 sites a day comepletd?
Well doen on all your efforts, I’ll say it again, you’re an inspiration!
Zaheer
Hi Zaheer,
Yes, I have seen some movement from my earlier sites that are now 3-4 months old or so. Some of them have found their solid ranking and have held them steadily for the past 2 months or so and some of those are still completely sandboxed but get clicks from other long tails i wasn’t targeting.
Wow, I can’t believe you were unable to find writers for $2 an article. I just hired another one last night at that rate and she is from the US. I feel bad paying US writers so little when I know that US writers normally charge $5-15.00 an article.
Yes, I have considered outsourcing some back linking and actually I hired someone yesterday to back link 4 xfactor sites and my main niche blog. I basically have him back linking a few xfactor sites that are sitting on page 3+ that had the highest CPCs too. I only seem to have enough time to get a few article submissions and a UAW submission done these days. I don’t have time for blog commenting etc. Outsourcing is a beautiful thing.
I was unable to build 2 sites on Sunday since one of my writers did not turn in her articles as expected. This was quite shocking for me since I have worked with her for 4 months now and she has never been late. I still haven’t received them yet and I don’t know what’s going on.
Anyhow, I have built 4 sites so far this week.

Hi Sara,
It’s great to see what you are doing and the steps you make weekly. For the outsourcing of backlinking are you doing mostly comments for blogs or are you doing other forms of backlinking like profile links or forum links etc? Do you give them the comments to make or just tell them to say something appropriate etc? I did outsource blog commenting a few months ago and it improved ranking for a site though the comments were a bit of gibberish.
Do you start traffic kahuna right after site is done or do you wait a bit in case it is doing well naturally anyway?
Deb
Hi Deb,
For the back linking, I am having my outsourcer mainly focus on blog commenting and forum posting. He has a running list of several forums he is active on and he is also a moderator on a few. I gave him very clear instructions on blog commenting; that he should be leaving thoughtful comments that are significant to the blog post. He has assured me that he does and that he knows what criteria will make his comments stick. So we shall see. He will be working on this for me over the next 4 weeks and he is going to be sending me weekly spreadsheets with all the info of where I can find the back links. So that will be the true test as to whether or not he is adding value to blogs with his comments.
I currently have been using TK on xfactor sites that are struggling on page 2 even after aging 3 months or so. Yesterday, one of my new sites got indexed and is ranking at #11. I also noticed a site similar to an xfactor template is now ranking on page 1 that was not there when I bought the domain a week and a half ago. I took a look at his back links and he appears to be using one part of Traffic Kahuna’s methods for back links on it, so I know that this particular site of mine will need to have a TK campaign run on in order to keep up and try to pass that site.
