Hi Deb,

For the back linking, I am having my outsourcer mainly focus on blog commenting and forum posting. He has a running list of several forums he is active on and he is also a moderator on a few. I gave him very clear instructions on blog commenting; that he should be leaving thoughtful comments that are significant to the blog post. He has assured me that he does and that he knows what criteria will make his comments stick. So we shall see. He will be working on this for me over the next 4 weeks and he is going to be sending me weekly spreadsheets with all the info of where I can find the back links. So that will be the true test as to whether or not he is adding value to blogs with his comments.

I currently have been using TK on xfactor sites that are struggling on page 2 even after aging 3 months or so. Yesterday, one of my new sites got indexed and is ranking at #11. I also noticed a site similar to an xfactor template is now ranking on page 1 that was not there when I bought the domain a week and a half ago. I took a look at his back links and he appears to be using one part of Traffic Kahuna's methods for back links on it, so I know that this particular site of mine will need to have a TK campaign run on in order to keep up and try to pass that site.

Hi Sara,

It's great to see what you are doing and the steps you make weekly. For the outsourcing of backlinking are you doing mostly comments for blogs or are you doing other forms of backlinking like profile links or forum links etc? Do you give them the comments to make or just tell them to say something appropriate etc? I did outsource blog commenting a few months ago and it improved ranking for a site though the comments were a bit of gibberish.

Do you start traffic kahuna right after site is done or do you wait a bit in case it is doing well naturally anyway?

Hi Zaheer,

Yes, I have seen some movement from my earlier sites that are now 3-4 months old or so. Some of them have found their solid ranking and have held them steadily for the past 2 months or so and some of those are still completely sandboxed but get clicks from other long tails i wasn't targeting.

Wow, I can't believe you were unable to find writers for $2 an article. I just hired another one last night at that rate and she is from the US. I feel bad paying US writers so little when I know that US writers normally charge $5-15.00 an article.

Yes, I have considered outsourcing some back linking and actually I hired someone yesterday to back link 4 xfactor sites and my main niche blog. I basically have him back linking a few xfactor sites that are sitting on page 3+ that had the highest CPCs too. I only seem to have enough time to get a few article submissions and a UAW submission done these days. I don't have time for blog commenting etc. Outsourcing is a beautiful thing.

I was unable to build 2 sites on Sunday since one of my writers did not turn in her articles as expected. This was quite shocking for me since I have worked with her for 4 months now and she has never been late. I still haven't received them yet and I don't know what's going on. :( Anyhow, I have built 4 sites so far this week.

Its excellent to see that you're staying on track, thats a VERY tough goal that you have set yourself....congratulations, you must feel really good!

Quick question, are you beginning to see any movement from your previous sites that are maturing to like 3-4 months?

I followed your advice on oDesk and have hired a few artice writers, was trying to look for $2 per 500 words but couldn't find anyone...lol, don't know how you manged to do it!

I was also thinking that it might be worth hiring someone to do some link building on the xfactor sites since thats an very time consuming job in itself. Have you considered doing anything like this?

Oh and are you still gettgin2 sites a day comepletd?

Well doen on all your efforts, I'll say it again, you're an inspiration!

It is an amazing feeling yet overwhelming. Before I could just do whatever I wanted whenever I wanted as far as site building, research or working on back linking. But now with having writers and rewriters eagerly waiting for their daily assignments I find I am making that a priority before anything else. In fact, I spent most of my day yesterday researching for new keywords to prepare for this week. But I know I could not accomplish this without their help so I see the value in my time sacrifice.
