I cannot believe how quick the days go by. It still amazes me how I simply do not have enough hours in the day to get everything done that I need to.
Here I thought I would be saving a tremendous time by hiring writers and rewriters. As I mentioned in the comments of my last post, I have now even hired someone to do back linking for me. I wish I could hire someone to submit my initial articles for back linking my freshly built xfactor sites. It doesn’t seem like it should be taking me so much time to do so but I seriously have little or no time to do this.
My day pretty much looks like this:
8:00 – Take my son to school and head to the gym
8:15-9:00 – workout and come home
9:00-9:20 eat breakfast, start my coffee pot up and turn on my PC
9:20-9:30 – take a shower and get dressed
9:30-10:00 – answer any emails I have received from my writers and prepare content to be rewritten/spun for 1 rewriter
10:00-1:00pm – Build my daily 2 xfactor sites which include, RSS submits, pinging and social bookmarking
1:00-2:00pm – upload the last 2 pages from the sites built the day before, ping the pages and the RSS feeds
2:05-2:30pm – pick up from son from school
2:30-2:40 – shovel down some lunch, prepare an afternoon snack for my son and back to work
2:40-6:00pm – conduct keyword research, buy domains. Prepare the keyword lists and send my 3 content writers their keywords to write which will be due in 24 hours
6:00-7:00pm – submit 1-3 articles through ezines or goarticles back linking one of my earlier xfactor sites that was built a few days prior, perhaps set up a UAW submission or some steps through Traffic Kahuna
7:00-9:30pm – prepare and eat dinner, get my son ready for bed and veg out for a bit
9:30pm-12:00am – conduct some more keyword research or submit more article rewrites to back link freshly built xfactor sites
It’s just crazy! Just because I work from home, does not mean I have a lot of free time to waste and do with as I please. As you can see, this stuff is for real. I am working harder than I did at the dental office!
Some good news is 2 of my 14 sites form last week have started earning from clicks today. I am very excited about that and can’t wait for more sites to earn daily too.
Traffic Kahuna Heads Up
In case any of you are interested, Jason sent out an email today announcing Traffic Kahuna is going to open their doors very briefly tomorrow. So if you were thinking about signing up, don’t think about it for too long or you might miss your opportunity. There is a 30 day money back guarantee (unlike Link Dozer which totally sucks in that way) so really there is nothing to lose.
update: Jason just sent out the email showing the back door for TK. http://www.traffickahuna.com/doors/secret

Hi Sara,
Just wanted to say that you’re an inspiration. I’m trying to get into the swing of building some micro niche sites, but I’ve got a two week old daughter and a day job that are eating all my time at the moment.
A quick question – do you outsource your site content, or only your articles? I ask because so far I’ve been writing my content myself and only outsourcing articles for backlinks, and I certainly couldn’t put up sites in the timeframe you’re describing if I write content myself.
Thanks,
James
Hi James,
Congrats on your new baby! I can only imagine the very little free time you have on your hands right now.
If you can outsource, you will save so much time and earn much faster. Writing all your website content and then writing and rewriting articles will suck the life out of you. lol
I outsource the content for the actual pages of my sites. Of course I have my best writers do this and I have been pretty pleased with their work. In fact, they have wrote better content then I could ever have myself. Especially for the real boring niches that I have no passion to write about. Actually the bulk of my outsourcing is for content pages. I usually have the rewriters rewrite the page content to submit to the article directories and I have one rewriter that spins for me so I can use them for UAW and Traffic Kahuna campaigns.
Hi Sara,
I’m impressed with your schedule. I am glad you are including working out as I find I have to walk or do something to renew my energy. I know what you mean about how outsourcing requires you to stay on top of work too!
I forgot to ask you this before but do you also submit articles to places like articledashboard and amazines and places that people say are the top 10 directories or do you think that’s unnecessary? (And if you do, do you spin them)? I know some article directories are part of uaw but I wasn’t sure if it was the major ones.
Right now I will take my spun articles and will submit them to Goarticles and Article Alley. I don’t bother with Article base since they have a no-follow on the resource links and I really don’t have much free time to submit to other article directories. I am not even back linking all my inner pages etc like outlined in John’s eBook. I just sorta rely more on quick social bookmarking and maybe 1 UAW submission.
Thanks Sara,
Do you spin them using uaw or do you use a different spinner?
Deb
I used the spinner that is included with traffic kahuna.
Wow Sara, that is one busy day! I hope your earnings reflect your hard work soon. I am starting to get back into the swing of things now after a slow down (burn out) and will be full-time soon. I may email you about your outsourcing – I had some questions about the quality of content.
.-= Carrie´s last blog ..Oh Where, Oh Where Have My Rankings Gone? =-.
Hi Carrie,
Yes, I certainly hope my earns shoot up this next month.
Go ahead and email me your questions.
Hi Sarah,
Oh gosh your energy level is quite unbelievable. 4 xfactor’s sites over a weekend? I just need to drop by your blog to get more motivation for building more micro niche adsense sites over my side.
On a side can you let me know the plugin you’re using for filtering those short or useless comments – that plugin which you had some problem with recently. A reader of mine is looking for this and so I promised her I’ll find out for her”
Peter
Hey Sara,
Well done, keep it up, just remember that goal for lego land!!! Seriously that must be a really tough schedule but I think you enjoy doing it which helps, theres nothing like being your own boss.
Also, wanted to say thanks for mentioning oDesk, I’ve hired a few article writers, some were good, some were bad but have finally shortlisted 1 or 2 people which I will use. I couldn’t get it down to $2 per article but I was paying $6.5 before and now have some good people for about $4 which in itself is quite a saving.
I used a few people from the Phillipines but being a perfectionist just couldn’t get the quality, I admire you for being able to find someone at such a good rate, its incredible how much it helps!
Anyway, keep it up, dont forget to keep blogging as one is an avid fan of your posts and progess!
Oh and from your rankings and experience, are you beginning to figure out what kind of numbers to target in MNF that get you ranked quickly?
I’m just about to launch a few more sites and have an idea of what I think is working, will definately report back to you and your readers so we can all get a piece of the pie and try and help each other!
Good luck
x
