4 weeks eep! I have about 8 more weeks until my goal of hitting $50 a day. My adsense earnings seem to be hitting a more consistent range. All through the month of february my daily adsense earnings have been anywhere from $9.24-$21.64. The past 4 days I have consistently earned a minimum amount of $17.41. I also had 2 days of hitting over $20.00. I earned $20.47 on Monday and $23.85 yesterday. So I would say that my xfactor sites have moved from earning me $10-15.00 a day to now earning me $13.00-19.00. I have have often noticed with adsense that you will hit a spike and then it will settle to just a slightly lower amount for another week or so. My guess is that I will start hitting more $20.00 average days next week. It’s a beautiful day in Noteworthy Tips-Land when I return from my morning workout at the gym with coffee in hand and see that my adsense account is already sitting at $6.85 at 10:00am.
Interesting Behavior For New Non-Indexed Sites
I built a site just 2 days ago and it is not indexed, yet it has miraculously earned about $3.00 in adsense the past 2 days. O.o My guess is that it is getting traffic either from social networks or from RSS feeds.
Meet #11 – My New Lucky Number
Well, I have always been fond of #7 as a lucky number but I seem to be hitting #11 position for most of my new sites. I can deal with #11 since it only needs a a few back links here and there in order to bump it to page 1.
Xfactor Sniper Sites Update: They are still not indexed but they are only 3 days old.
This Weeks Site Building Update
I am actually sitting at 12 sites built this week even though I still will need to build my 2 for today and 2 for tomorrow. Of course 6 of those were the 1 page sites I had contemplated on building. They still took as long to set up as a full 5 page site did. I still need to go back and slap some RSS feeds on the site so it doesn’t look so empty.
I now have 83 micro niche sites built (of course about 20 of them were test sites and filled with mistakes). I have received the content from my writers to build another 21 sites and some content is being written which brings me to 101 sites. 24 more sites after that will need to be built to hit my 125 sites goal. At that point I will just focus on back linking sites that need a push. I will also cut back on the amount of work my article writers do daily and have them start writing content to build up my already existing sites.
I know I had mentioned in an earlier post that I found if I get the harder stuff out of the way during the beginning of my day, that I find the day is easier to get my workload done. Well this still stands true. Yesterday after I did my keyword research and sent out keyword lists to my writers, gathered my blog commenter their documents; I then decided to work on getting more articles set up on Syndicate Kahuna (1 part of Traffic Kahuna’s system). I am still finding that my articles that are sent out through Syndicate Kahuna show up in YSE (yahoo site explorer) within days. I guess those blogs are getting pinged more frequently or something and so they get crawled faster than the blogs that are in UAW. (Don’t get me wrong. UAW is still an excellent system and I will most likely always use it) but Syndicate Kahuna is just amazing for fast article back links. This is why I do not even focus on article back linking as John suggests. I like using UAW, SK and blog commenting. It seems to be helping my first sites that were ranking poorly.
The Mini Article Feature With Syndicate Kahuna
I wanted to try out this 100 word article submission they have on SK. I wanted to send some back links to a brand new site (#63) that was built on 2-17-2010. The 100 word article is an extremely unique quick blurb that allows one anchored text link in the body. I just had my 100 words spun so I could come up with my easy 10 unique articles that are 100 words. According to YSE, my site has 6 back links showing up from those 100 word mini articles and according to SK, it has been distributed to 27 sites so far. So 6/27 in about 10 days is pretty good! This was so quick to do that I should start making this a part of my site set up tasks. After I build sites for the day, I should write a 100 word blurb in my TK content spinner and then get 10 fresh articles for that submission. Voila! Instant introductory back links!
Ok off to get some work done for the day!

Hi,
I have been reading and following your blog for a month now. Had a question in mind, which I wanted to ask you.
Have you seen any SERP changes after doing a SK run? Do you gain google rankings?
BTW: I myself have built 56 sites, which follow Mike’s algo.
Thanks
Al
Hi Al,
Yes, I have seen SERP changes in my sites that have SK article submissions. On site #31, it started off ranked at #18 and is now #11 and that is only 10 days later from the first SK submission.
On another site (#32) it was ranking at #8 and 20 days after its first SK submission it is now at #7.
Both of those sites only have 1 article submission for SK and it was all aimed at the main keyword. Just imagine if I had set up an article submission of each additional keyword with 2 links; 1 pointing at the main keyword and the other at a 2nd keyword? I am confident those sites would have ranked quicker and possibly higher.
I plan on doing more submissions but I will come back to those sites in about 1-2 weeks.
Sara,
What do you use to track rankings? (did I ask you this already?)
.-= Carrie´s last blog ..Sites Shuffling Downward =-.
I use Good ‘ol fashion OneNote. lol I have one page that lists all of my sites and then I have a column for rankings. I check my rankings manually about once a week and then I jot down the new ranking position.
I have read about software not being so reliable, sort of like how Google webtools will tell you that you are ranking higher for one keyword and then you go check it out to make sure, only to find you are not #10 as quoted but #18 instead. lol
Youch, that must take some time! Do you use Scroogle?
Every so often someone on WF talks about a drop in their rankings which they have somehow related to using automatic rank checking software. Not sure I believe it, but I’m still scared to try it.
It would nice to keep track, especially after some link building.

Interesting. I think I need to add SK to my link building arsenal.
Anyway, keep us updated and thanks for the quick reply.
Thanks
Al
Hi,
Just happened on your blog as I was looking into buying Xfactor. It was an eye opener. It;s a lot harder than I thought and being brand new, I know I couldn’t handle it on my own. I know you will be successful as you keep banging away site after site. You are after all making money. It’s only a matter of time before it all clicks together.
Good luck to you
Jay
Hi Jay,
Please do not let my efforts discourage you from building micro niche sites. You do not have to scale it up as I have. Its crunch time for me because I have a financial deadline for the end of April.
Beginners will do well to read John’s book and follow his steps. It really is fool proof. My only recommendation is to not add any words to your domain. If you cannot get the exact domain name as your keyword in the form of .com, .org or.net then just continue your research for another keyword. Otherwise you will be disappointed when your site does not rank quickly.
You can even read John’s original thread he started before he released his book. He lays out most of his same steps there as he included in his book.
This method does work. I have seen it for myself and I am a strong believer in micro niche sites now.
You’re putting in some serious work putting all these sites together. How long are you spending working to achieve all this on a daily basis? I appreciate you are outsourcing at the moment, so what are your costs per microsite on average?
.-= Richard @ No More Compromise´s last blog ..Split Testing With WordPress =-.
I am working 12-14 hours days on my business. I do spend most of my hours either researching or getting “jobs” ready for my outsourcers. I outsource my articles, articles to be spun, blog commenting and now my UAW submissions.
I think in a previous post this week it was estimated that I end up spending about $40-45 per site. That includes domain registration, outsourced articles, outsourced articles spun, some blog commenting and memberships to UAW and traffic kahuna.
I know that figure seems pretty high but I am probably over estimating actual cost. It varies because I do not blog comment every site and I do not necessarily get 5 spun articles for every site either.
Great progress! You should be very proud of what you accomplished so far, I know it’s not easy.
And thanks for tracking your progress here, it’s very fun to get the insight glimpse.

I have tried SK and we have had goodluck with it. I dont think many webmasters and blog owners know about it.
.-= Dennis´s last blog ..Industrial Dust Control Curtains =-.
You’re right Dennis. I don’t think many people do know about SK. I used to have a banner for it on my site but I took it down because I think they had closed the doors on it for awhile and I wasn’t aware of when they had reopened it again. It’s great that its included with TK though.
@Carrie No I have not heard of Scroogle and yea the exact fear of auto rank checking and the correlation of SERP dropping is what scares me form wanting to use them. lol
I guess I am old fashion! haha
So if you search at Scroogle.org (http://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/scraper.htm) you won’t get funny results b/c of your cookies. Sometimes if you search your own sites/kws you can get inaccurate results b/c Google recognizes you. The downfall of Scroogle is you can only see up to #100.

Wow nice site!
I must ask..how do you keep yourself organised with that many sites?!?! My brain is melting over the 50 I have about keeping up with backlinks etc…I think though I need to start outsourcing but it scares me. Thanks for the encouragement I think I will just HAVE to do it otherwise I am going to get lumbered with too much work!
Hi Kelly,
I discovered Microsoft OneNote about 6 months ago (it was already installed on my PC I had never used it). This is the best software for keeping yourself organized. I did make a post about it OneNote few months back when I first started using it for my xfactor sites. Although now that I see those old screenshots, my notebooks have changed quite a bit. lol Especially since I now keep track of blog commenters and my back linkers that are also outsourced.
Maybe I will post about OneNote again today and show some more screenshots of my items I keep organized.
Breaking down and outsourcing is a huge step and quite scary for some, but you really can find some great people for very good prices. I have a long term writer that I just love to death. I have had her for 6 months now and I still pay her $2.00 per article with occasional bonuses. She is from the Philippines. She writes a bit slower than my other writers are expected to write for me. She has leukemia though and some days are just bad days. She always completes her work though and I never have to edit anything. She has perfect English.
Eventually I do not just see my outsourcers as someone to fill up my sites but they are a part of my team. I know without them, I could not do what I have accomplished.
Thanks for the tips
Your real estate is growing by the day and it’s good to see that your Adsense earnings are growing too. I had my first adsense click from one of my Xfactor sites the other day and was quite excited lol I need to go back and do more promotion though if they have any hope of earning.
.-= Clare Swindlehurst´s last blog ..Brainstorm keyword ideas with the help of the Google Adwords tool =-.
Definitely back link Clare! Th closer you can get your sites up in the top 5, you see a major change in their earnings. I know this is my goal and so I have drastically slowed down on site building this week to focus on back linking my sites that are really close to hitting those top 5 sweet spots.
At the same time, I wouldn’t just tell someone to only focus on back linking their sites if they only have a few because it seems that maybe 1 out of 4 sites will be a hit. So if one person focuses on just like 5 sites, they may not see as much of a return as someone that continued to build say 25 sites and then went back and did more back linking because the person with 4 sites might only be earning like $2.00 a day with those 4 sites versus someone that build 25 earning $10 a day.
At least for me, I find it better to bust out a bunch of sites and then go back to work on back linking. I get a major hunch about how well a site will do with very little back linking from the beginning. Then I know where to blast my back linking measures. Like which sites need MUCHO help and which sites only need maintenance of a few back links a week.
It sounds like you’re definitely making progress. I’ve never tried Adsense but am considering doing so. Right now, I do Freelance writing and am doing rather well with it. However, there is always room for making more. I might give this a try.
