Guess who broke her adsense record? Me me me!!!! I am sooooo excited. Yesterday I hit $31.86. My highest adsense to date was $30.18 back in January. That was just a freak of nature day too because all the days before and after that were pretty darn low. Like maybe $10 days. I am definitely seeing my adsense increasing by a few dollars every day.
I finished up only one one site that I had not finished building a few days ago, last night. Book marked it etc.
I also got my outsourcers for the new back linking all squared away and I have 4 that can do the job perfectly. Whew! I still spend the majority of my morning gathering all the assignments for the day for them, plus my writers, rewriters and blog commenters. Today this sucked up about 3 hours of my time. I did some brief research to replace a few sites that were on daniel’s list because some of them no longer accept anchored tect links or any sort of back link. Scrapebox actually made this task pretty easy to do. lol
I also spend a lot of time emailing and answering any questions my outsourcers may have had from the previous workload. Its fabulous! haha!
Someone asked how do I keep my xfactor micro niche adsense sites organized. I decided it was time to update my Microsoft OneNote 2007 organization tips to you all. I have screenshots that have been blacked out and blurred when necessary. So here is how I do my best to keep tabs on everything and stay organized while producing 100+ xfactor sites.
The first thing is I have a master list of every single xfactor domain I own, also if I bought another TLD for the same keyword, it receives its own line too since it is regarded as a separate site.
I have a colum to keep notes for additional domain names available to purchase later, my rankings, article submissions and back linking, i.e. blog commenting. I do have a separate page for keeping track of blog commenting but this is used as my basic quick run down of a site.
Next I create a separate Notebook for each domain. this is great for keeping all your notes about 1 website in one spot. I will list my keyword research here plus any notes on whom is writing or wrote the content for it so I can quickly access his or her folder on my computer to locate the articles.
You can also drag and drop live articles linking to your site which OneNote will automatically store the URL of the article too such as shown below.
To keep track of my outsourcers and who did what, I will take my main master list of sites and copy and paste it as a new page, getting rid of the columns for UAW, and other information. I will just keep a column open for the name of my blog commenters so that I can quickly reference if I had been working on a back links for the domain. It also makes it quick to find out who did the commenting so I can quickly access their folder, find the text file of the list of pages my comments can be found on so I can ping them every few days.
Well, back to getting some actual work done for the day! Woohoo! So excited!
Yesterday’s Adsense Earnings: $31.86
Highest xfactor site earning: $2.48
Lowest xfactor site earning: $0.02

Well, that’s just FAB!
F.A.B.!!
You are almost there now…
Hope you will do something nice for yourself to celebrate your success.
Congrats!

We’re going to Lego Land and Disney Land! I wish we could go to Orlando for Disney World but if I reach my goal of $50 a day by the end of April, we will go to Disney Land sometime in May as a reward. I have not been able to take my son to do anything fun since my divorce because I have always struggled to keep afloat. So I really am counting on being able to do this for him.
I’ve been using a spreadsheet to keep myself and my sites organized. What I think I’ll do though after reading your comments about using One Note is revisit Evernote. I used to be a huge fan of the software but got away from using it for much when it went from being computer based to web based software. However, you can still keep your data on your computer if you prefer, which I do. I think I’ll play around with it for a little while. I need something to help me keep my website and keyword notes organized, and a spreadsheet isn’t good for that kind of thing. However, it’s fabulous for all the rest.
By the way, I’m thrilled to see you having so much success. Maybe it’s self-centered to say this, but it’s very motivating to me!
Hi Lynn,
I have never heard of Evernote. So it is similar to OneNote? I just love that everything is accessible with just 1 click rather than searching through folders trying to access spreadsheets.
Maybe. I’m not sure because I haven’t ever used OneNote. The older version of Evernote is best, because the newer version just seems to be a mess (which I discovered after installing it yesterday). I have just created myself a nice little file inside Treepad Lite (freeware) [ http://www.treepad.com/treepadfreeware/ ] and set myself up with it. I’ve used it for years for other things, but when I realized Evernote wasn’t going to work for me this time, I knew right away this might be what I should be using. It’s a highly functional little program, fully portable, and any text editor can open the files if you run into computer problems.
That is great news! Your hard work is paying off!
I also like your screen shots. I’ve been struggling with organization and I think the spreadsheets were just frustrating me because you can’t put just anything in the cells. I do have OneNote (but I am still on Office 2003). I never really used it much so never thought to break it out for this. See, now there is an idea for a product you could sell….I’d pay to get a template for OneNote or other note software

Haha! That’s a good idea Sara. I just watched like one Youtube video on oneNote and that was the one that showed me that I could drag and drop files and URLs onto pages to keep. Its really an easy program to use.
Congrats, congrats & congrats Sara,
Hard work is beginnign to pay off, I kow the feeling, i hit $31 on the first day of the month so knwo the feeling….hehehehehe
OneNote look svery good, it does look well organised but Im too much if an Excel freak to change, do you know if all the data you put in can be either exported or imported into excel. Also, can the data be sorted like Excel? I love using the ‘filter’ feature so without this Im going to struggle.
Excellent post and well done.
Zaheer
Zaheer, I noticed in Sara’s one screenshot that she embedded an excel file. I keep everything in excel also but I tend to have excel files scattered about and not nicely organized by site. Looks like OneNote could be a nice overall cabinet to match up all your various files and infos.

Yes, you can embed the excel file into the page and when you click on that file icon, the spreadsheet will immediately open. So it does make accessing files extremely convenient.
WooooHoo….dinners on you lol….jk. Hey Keep it up.

Thanks Des! I hope the sea is being kind to you. Shipped out to Chile yet?
That is a great accomplishment. Once I started to get over $30 a day, my adsense really took off. I can tell by looking at your progress that you are on your way.

Woohoo! That excites me more to hear you confirm the income takes off from here on out!
Congrats on the new adsense high!
Ya know, I have never used OneNote but it looks interesting. I also am an excel junkie but I tend to end up with too many files. I’m gonna have to play around with OneNote a bit and see it of helps – I need to get better organized!

I was intimated by it at first but I don’t know why. lol It’s so easy to use. I just create a new notebook for each domain and within that notebook I create new tabbed pages for the various info such as keyword research, back linking info and any other notes about the site.
I have One Note on my laptop and hadn’t thought to use it to track my IM stuff – though I like to work on my Mac for all things IM.
I did sign up for Backpack which I thought would work but I’ve only messed around with the free account. Right now I’m just writing in a journal.
I hope you manage to take your son to Disneyland as a treat – you should check out my Disney website – it’s mostly about Disney World but as part of the Adsense 101 Bootcamp I plan to add some articles about Disneyland

That looks like a great site Clare! You just motivated me to slap some photos of Disney Land on my vision board. The only thing is I want to surprise my son and if I put them on it, he will see if and ask why is it there. lol
nice spreadsheet but do you not use excel, I use excel but would like someone to design me a spreadsheet
