Today I find myself totally confused as to what to make my game plan for the next 2 weeks. I am sitting at 86 xfactor sites and I have to build only 15 more for this week. Then I will be sitting at 101 sites. I am asking myself
Ok sara what now? Do I have my writers continue to develop new sites for me or do I have them start building up older sites so that I can add 10-20 more pages of content to them? What about high PR article back links? I have been so busy focusing only on UAW and TK for back links that I have not bothered with Ezine, Goarticles or Buzzle
I honestly don’t know what to do. I guess in the back of my mind, I some how think that high PR blog comments will help boost my sites enough and they will help the rankings, no doubt. The problem is I am not getting anchored keyword links to my sites through them. I need to focus on getting anchored text links now.
I’ve read over many of Terry Kyle’s threads on the WF as well as in his personal back linking forum and he believes strongly in the power of profiles as forms of strong back links. Anyhow, terry recommended this WSO and I just got it for $7. Wow, it looks amazing and I can have an outsourcer do it for really cheap. Daniel even gives you instructions on how to have it outsourced. Sweet!
I am gonna take the rest of today off from building sites and what not and just work on placing my first ad for this WSO to be outsourced on odesk. Hopefully in the morning I will wake up with an epiphany as to what to have my writers do this week.
Aww dang it! I turned off comments again!
Ok so now I am going to employ that new WSO so I have my writers writing the articles needed for that WSO and then I will outsource someone to submit the articles for me. haha! Yup, yup. That’s what I am gonna do!
This is truly an exciting evening. My adsense is over $26.00 with 2 more hours to go and I can proudly say that only $7.00 of that is from my hubpages and niche blogs. The remaining is all from my micro niche sites. So I think it is only fair to report that my xfactor sites are closer to pulling in $15.00-$20.00 a day now. Man, just think…I only need to double this with 2 more months to go. I can totally do this!
Update on one of my first xfactor sites
Every time I am ready to end my blog post for the day, there is always something I wanted to mention. So I have an older site (4 months old) which has a bit of a low monthly search. It has only 1.9k monthly exact searches and it happens to be a 2 word keyword. It has done ok rank wise. It is in position #8 for the main keyword. Well early on, I was following John’s article marketing to the T except I had also added in UAW into my arsenal at the time. Today as I was looking through the inner pages to see how they were going, I noticed I was ranked #9 for the 3rd keyword phrase of the 5 total. I had actually decided to go after this 3rd keyword that was off the charts as far as SOC was concerned because I figured maybe I could get some traffic from some long tails. The monthly search for this one keyword phrase was 22k, so I knew I would get at least a trickle of this traffic. How fricken amazing is it to have an inner page ranking #9 for a keyword that has a higher CPC and higher monthly search than my main keyword??? It’s fricken fantastic! So, of course when I saw this, i knew I had to push that inner page up higher so I got my blog commenter to do 120 comments for just that one page. We will see how it does after that.
Anyhow the point of me sharing that is that those inner pages should not be ignored nor should you be discouraged form using a keyword that his high SOC for one of your inner pages because you just might score. by the way, this inner page had only 18 back links all from UAW articles. So that is pretty fascinating! I love it!

Wow it really sounds like things are moving ahead well! Keep going!!

Thanks Ruth. This is all very exciting and motivating to see some progress.
Hi,
Good luck with you plan! Actually keyword research has always been one of the most drastic activity that’ll take you a lot of hours chasing on Google’s competition. Although, since I outsourced some of my blogging tasks, for me, it’s been easier to manage more priorities at the same time. To help them, I actually give them software – free and effective software which some of my ventures have shared to me. Once I’ve checked it, I’ll let my virtual staff do all the marketing through keyword research through that tool. If you’ve heard about MarketSamurai, it is really one thing that you shouldn’t live without.
I hope that gives you another help!
Hi Tyrone. I agree that keyword research is actually what ate up most of my mornings. I am glad to not have to do that this week. I just need to finish building the rest of my sites I have content for and prepare daily packets for my outsourcers to complete.
Sara, I bought that WSO but wasn’t sure how to implement it for just any site. I’m curious how you plan to do it – I’ll send you and email.
I think if I were you I would spend some time evaluating your winners and adding more content to those (and backlinks). No point in adding pages/effort to the duds.

I think it is smart to add pages to the real earners and try to add some to the ones that trickle in small amounts of income. Such as the sites that maybe receive a click every other day or so.
That’s true. Never know when you might stumble onto a good inner keyword.

Sara,
It looks like things increased this month. I hope you’ll update the monthly tab for feb when you have time. Are the links from sk or tk sometimes high pagerank? When you added 120 blog comments, what did you use to find them? When you said some blog comments don’t have anchor text is because you use your name to avoid spamming? I think this month will have nice surprises.
For the back links you receive with SK, I don’t think I would consider them to be high PR sites. Your article gets posted to blogs that are on auto pilot and sometimes they get posted to real blogs. I haven’t seen any higher blogs than a PR 1 but that was just checking out a few links form one of my sites I first tested out with SK. I have since used SK on several other sites and its possible their back links are on higher PR blogs. I just know that they are indexed quicker than some of UAW postings. I have noticed that many of the blogs in SK’s network are 2-3 years old so I think that is why they show up faster in YSE.
I use Scrapebox to find the high PR blogs for my commenters to post on. Yes, I use a name only for the comments. I actually instruct them not to use the keywords as the name or even as a link in the comment body itself. I know I am not getting any anchored text back links this way but I am still giving juice to my pages. And some of those blogs they post on have a PR of 6 and 7.
Hi Sara,
You;re actually in a pretty envious position as I’m sure lots of people would like to have that many sites up and running.
I’ve used profile backlinks and I can say that they have helped me with rankings. I’ve hired a team of backlinkers on one of my sites which is quite competitive and has an average of about $3 per click hence why i want it in th etop 10. Anyway, cutting a long story short, I’ve asked them initially for about 200 inbound links in total to about 5 pages and I will let you know how that goes.
With regards to your strategy I think you should maybe do the following;
Look at your older sites and check their rankings, anything that is in positions 11-30 I would go all out and start link building, becuase they’ve been around for a few months they will be slightly easier to rank for. ….this includes inner pages as well…
I would start initially getting some forum profiles or backlinks to all your sites, dont go for a huge amount but get the ball rollong with as many of them as possible, Im starting off with about 50 profile links to each site, this keeps costs down and also links coming in. Im actually building links and getting content writers to write content for additional pages as well.
You’ve put in all the initial hard work, its now upto you to push those rankings up. Forum profiles, at least 1 or 2 articles links to each page and plenty of social bookmarking shoudl work I think. This is all Ive done and have seen some really godo reuslts…..Im also hitting the mid and upper $20′s per day and am confident this will shoot up once these sites start to hit the top 10….you would hope…
Anyway, really admrie you for what youve done, keep going and focus on those ‘juicy’ backlinks now……
Zaheer
Hi Zaheer,
yes, I was pretty skeptical on profile back links, but honestly I have had some really good success with a few from Angela and Paul’s packets that have stuck for months! The earlier packets had opened the floodgates and caused many of my profiles to be quickly deleted but now that there is some greater caution going on with them, you can get some real gems.
I know Terry Kyle swears by profile back links (in fact he prefers them over article marketing) and actually over the weekend I decided to use the profile sites as a competitor. I went through his list of profile back links and registered at the same site. the only thing is, the knuckle head put several of his xfactor sites all in the same profile so he basically is airing out his laundry of other keywords he targeted for his other xfactor sites. I only went through and put links to all my inner pages for the same niche site. lol
I am curious how you are outsourcing them. I saw a WSO deal for like $5 you can get 25 profile links. I wasn’t sure if you were outsourcing packets or hiring a team that uses their own.
I believe Terry Kyle swipes his competitors profiles with Spyglass and then goes back and registers on those same sites. At least that is what I picked up form his forum of him doing once.
Congrats on hitting $20 days. It is such a great feeling to not see any more low dips of $10 this past week. Whew! It restored my faith in this system to see 2 days hitting over $20 in the past 5 days.
Thanks for replying Sara,
I was initially sceptical as well with profile links, but when I tried Paul’s And Angela’s I kind of quickly realised that they were a very powerful way to get some authority to your site.
I don’t use Terry Kyles WSO, instead what I’ve done is found a ‘good’ company which someone recommended to me so just trying them out. They have various packages and prices, I basically went for the one with 200 links on different sites. I’ve had a look at some of what they’ve done and it looks good, they create ‘believable’ bios and also emails so your profile looks genuine. They then send you a report every few days. I specifically asked that they do it slowly and don’t add more than 20-30 backlinks per day which they don’t normally do but my friend has some clout!
So basically I give them 5 keywords I want promoted for 200 links, this means 40 links per keyword. I specifically asked them to only have 1 keyword per profile so there is some IP diversity.
Once I get the profile URLs, the secret is to ping these (for mass ping I use pingdevice.com) also setup a RSS feed (I use html2rss) and then use Feedburner to promote this. This way they can indexed in Google, a lot of people miss this and there are some sites that get indexed within seconds.
I also social bookmark the profile pages and have found that bookmarking these profile pages gives the pages more power allowing it to be passed onto you.
Not sure if implementing ONLY profile links is the way to go as this should be used as part of a strategy, it would be better to use article markeing as well as Web2.0 marketing such as Hubpages & Squidoo.
Thanks for the kind words, working very hard and working smarter is key. My average for last month was $22p/d of which half were XFactor sites. I’m quite excited about the backlinking now and hoping this will help moving forward!
If you want the details, please feel free to email me and I’m happy to pass the details of the company I use (I have no affiliation with them).
Oh another question, how often are you bokmarking? Do you bookmark your articles that you submit? I found out the other day that my Ezines profile page was a PR3, wow was quite shocked, probably because of the internal linking and all the bookmarking.
Sorry about the long post…..AGAIN…..lol
Zaheer
No, I have totally overlooked bookmarking my article author’s pages but recently read up on how people were slamming back links to their author pages to get them ranking as a PR3 to help spread the love.
I will gladly email you about the service you are using. I am very interested now.
This is one of my goals when I have more time soon – trying to work on my profiles and get PR up. That and try to make some good feeders. In addition to bookmarking these profiles making friends can also help (on the social sites).

If any of you guys have Bookmarking Demon or any similar software then its beneficial to just bookmark as soon as you get the page live, that way, its done and out of the way. I often bookmark my profile pages, I even found out my hubpages profile page is a PR2.
But yea, bookmarking DOES work, I bookmark the bookmarks as well…lol
Zaheer
Links make all the difference. If you have this much content up I would definately take the time to build up some high PR links to each of your sites and you’ll really start to see the potential of building minisites like this.
I totally agree Richard. Although I am still getting my UAW submissions in and using syndicate kahuna, I am MORE focused on blog commenting and now profile linking.
Zaheer,
Do you know about how many bookmarks you end up with BMD? I use SocialBot which is easy, but not terribly effective. I had to keep whittling down my list of sites b/c the software would get tripped up and then recently I manually checked my accounts and noticed some were not actually be posted to.
I’ve heard mixes reviews about BMD and it’s a bit pricey so I was curious if you all are seeing alot of links show up?
.-= Carrie´s last blog ..Snow Thwarts My IM Productivity =-.
yes great software is very useful.
after you purchase, first watch training videos carefully.
