I just finished building my my last xfactor site. I built 72 websites in just under 7 weeks but I now have a total of about 101 xfactor sites. Just for less confusion I will say that I have 101 sites form here on out even though my first 29 sites were stepping stones to my xfactor micro niche empire. At the start of my 2 month goal, I had originally set out to build 150 websites in 2 months but as I progressed through my site building each week, I found trying to back link these sites to become even more difficult.
For the record, I only article marketed my first 29 sites as John taught in his ebook and the last 72 sites were back linked with blog commenting, some press releases suggested by Daniel Tan’s WSO, Unique Article Submissions (which I am still working on and have at least another 30 sites to go to catch up on in order to have all inner pages with UAW submissions) and the use of Traffic Kahuna.
Profile Back Links = Good Juice…Still!
Two days ago I checked up on a google sniper site I created back in May 2009. I was curious if it had picked up some back links on its own sinceĀ had not touched it in several months. The most alarming thing was seeing that it somehow got a PR2 from only 25 back links checked with in SEO Spyglass. now I had to know how on earth this little site was able to get a PR2 with only 3 blog posts and virtually no time spend on marketing it other than running some of Angela’s back link packets on it the same week I built it. Originally I had gone through and used3 packets (for 90 possible back links) and I made a quick Youtube video that was a slide show for my product and put a link on my youtube profile page and in the description for the video upload itself. In SEO spyglass, the bulk of my back links came from mister-wong, 2 back links form Youtube and the rest from a digg, 1 blog comment and the rest were from profile back links that somehow stuck from Angela’s packets.
Now why am I sharing this? When I look at all the effort I put into my first xfactor sites which was mainly article marketing with ezines and goarticles, those sites are not showing any sort of PR and the sad thing is most of my first 29 sites have over 50+ in back links and here is my pitiful little google sniper site with only 25 back links but sitting there with a PR2! Terry Kyle has said numerous times on the warrior forum and on his back links forum that he still feels article marketing is not as effective for him as profile back linking is. Now that I have seen the evidence within my own site, I know this must be true. I know that my site probably gained a PR 2 partially because it had a Youtube video page pointing to my site and since Google owns Youtube, there is probably a lot of heavy weight associated with Youtube as far as an authority site. It should also be noted that all of my profile pages for that site had a PR – and so does my Youtube profile page.
Ok Sara, Get On With The Back Linking Strategy Already!
Ok, so now the plan is to create profile back links using my Back Link Blackbelt packet and of course with SEO Link Dominator. Since there is an entire process for how back links can be built, I am going to try and see if I can get at least 10 sites that are sitting on page 1 back linked with these profile links over the next couple of weeks.
I thought about making some quick youtube videos but then I had to sit back and wonder if I really wanted to create a new youtube account for each niche and frankly I am too damn lazy to mess with that for now.
Ok wow, I almost published this without updating my adsense earnings for the past 2 days.
March 16th Adsense Earnings: $32.38
Yesterday’s Adsense earnings: $24.52

Did you post the links yet using link dominator?
Evita
I have yet to post links for my xfactor sites with Link Dominator since I will just start to create accounts for them today. But I have been posting the past 2 days for the accounts I created last week that are for my main niche blog. I love how fast Link Dominator is for this process.
How in the world do you write a press release for these kind of sites? What do you say in them?
Hi Cathy,
I was actually really fortunate to have a writer that loved doing the PR write ups for me. In fact, he favored doing them over niche article writing. lol He would just introduce the “owner” of the site and a little bit of a background as to why the “owner” started up the site followed up with a mission statement of the website and lastly he would talk about the direction/future of the website by talking about goals the site owner had. They were about 500 words and they got accepted by all the directories and then some from Daniel’s WSO.
Hey,
How long did it take you to reach the 20-30 dollar mark with xfactor sites? and how many pages on average do you have per site? Oh and one more question…If you do have more than one page, do you rank for any of the other internal pages?
I have found it very hard to rank the internal pages, the home page is pretty easy but I guess it’s because its an exact keyword domain. Would appreciate your feedback…..THANKS!
Hey Luis,
I started building xfactor sites in October and I started hitting the $20-25 days towards the end of February. I then started hitting $30 dollar days only in the past 2 weeks, so that would be about mid-march.
I do 5 pages on every site. A small handful of sites have a little extra of 7-10 pages right now.
I honestly do not check the rankings on my internal pages. Although I do send them back links, my main focus is to get my sites ranking for their main keywords.
I wrote my first press release last week. It’s set to go out tomorrow morning. I paid some good money for it to be released. I’ll let you know how it goes.
.-= Fabian Ramirez´s last blog ..How to upgrade WordPress =-.
Yes, keep me posted Fabian. I am seeing more and more back links from the PR sites showing up on YSE and SEO Spyglass for my sites. I am also still seeing some rank improvement from them.
