The CTR premium theme coupled with WordPress works incredibly well for Adsense too. Interesting to heasr about Artiseer though – I looked into it some time ago and found nothing but “less than complementary” feedback.

Hi Brigitte,

Honestly, if you can get someone to make you a wordpress theme like Xfactor’s that might be your best bet. You can either use the people John recommends within the member’s area or you can simply outsource it using oDesk or eLance.

There are some people that have just loved using xsitepro but you should be able to get a wordpress theme template designed for a fraction of the cost of Xsitepro.

Hello everyone, I’m brand spankin new to this program. I was about to buy xsitepro but being a “newbie” and reading above, I’m of course thinking not the best route for me. He says dont’ use blogs and I see some of you are using wordpress. So do you think that is just fine or should I still go the web site software route?

Hi Charlie,
Basically you can create it to look pretty much the same in Artisteer if you spend some time tweaking the details.

You can either include a plain looking header menu, or just leave it out and add it in yourself in the theme editor later. Does that make sense?

You also can’t add in the images and Adsense properly in Artisteer, but again that can be done manually in the code once you’ve finished.

I was playing around with Artisteer yesterday (for 2 hours if you can call that “playing around!”) trying to get it to look like the xfactor html template…

Is there any way I could get some pointers or the template code itself from you?

That’s great that the artiseer template is working out well for you.No doubt that sites that use the wordpress platform will be indexed much faster. Google just loves the blogs. lol

Hello Sara, i started out using a traditional site builder to xfactor site but quickly switched back to wordpress. site was not getting idex fast enough for me and I was just too chicken.. so i went back to my wordpress comfort zone...
